Central University of Karnataka

The Central University of Karnataka (CUK) was established by an Act of the Parliament at Kalaburagi in Karnataka in 2009 as one of the 16 new Central Universities established by the Government of India to address the concerns of ‘equity and access’ and to increase the access to quality higher education by people in less educationally developed districts.

Central Library

Central Library is one of the most important facilities of the University catering to the information needs of faculty, research scholars and students of all schools and faculties. The main objective is to make the Library the most effective Learning Resource centre to contribute to the quality of higher education. Curremtly there are more than 41,000 books.
